Society does not change overnight. As a result of decades of hard work, the path of a big change or revolution is paved. Youth! For real success, we should always keep reviewing our thoughts and our attitude towards life. We should not just keep crying about the situation. The poet of the East, who presents divine teachings in the best way in his poetry and is an expert in life, has said with great confidence that the flight of a person against the wind is to give a new height.
THE EVENING OF SORROW IS LONG, BUT….
When a person is hurt, he becomes disappointed. In other words, a person does not make any plans, does not even think about planning. The Last Book of Revelation says that you should not grieve over what has passed away and should not be envious of what He has given you. We have to assess whether we acted moderately during the Corona virus or surrendered to life? We were seeing that unfortunately, the most lamentation was in our society those days. Parents started cursing the education system in front of their children as if the Corona virus was not as dangerous as the education system. Unfortunately, a large majority of parents have started to understand that the only reason for the collapse of their home system is that their children are pursuing higher education. Some students are satisfied and even happy that now their parents are thinking like them that instead of going through the ‘long’ and ‘tedious process’ of studies there should be a ‘quick fix’.
Friends! The search for shortcuts or easy ways is a mental illness, which leads to wandering thoughts, the mind becomes lazy, self-deception prevails and complacency is at its peak. We know that after this pandemic attack, the wheel of the economy did not just stop but was spinning in reverse. Despite this, we should still limit hunger to the stomach and not let it ride on the nerves in any case. We do not keep shrinking in the darkness of confusion and fears and gradually, drop by drop, it never dies.
Man often says that there are days of difficulty and days of ease will also come later. The Almighty God said, “With every difficulty comes ease.” Understand this difference, man says, “After difficulty comes ease,” and the Lord of the universe gives him the good news, “With every difficulty comes ease.” This is not just good news but the Lord’s promise to the human being. Even during the biggest pandemic of the century, we were shouting “difficult, difficult.” During times of adversity, everyone was complaining about the worsening of the situation. The ‘situation’ is not just financial and economic conditions. When we say that our situation is bad, we are actually declaring that first of all our mental conditions are not good. If they are corrected, then all other conditions can be corrected gradually, if not immediately. In fact, the dream of changing the situation without changing ourselves is also foolish because mental chaos is created less by external conditions and more by internal thoughts. Grief rides on a weak person and is the ride of a ‘strong’ person. To gain control over grief and sorrow, we need patience and forbearance. Hasty people become anxious and impatient and burden themselves with mental stress. This also affects the physical system. Young people! In this seemingly chaotic era, today you see many good-natured and healthy people who are plagued by physical and mental illnesses. The majority of them are those whose temperament is devoid of patience.
It has been known since time immemorial that the other side of the coin whose one side is called success is called sacrifice. Instead of reciting the odes of the past, let us make the intention and even the determination to sacrifice for the recovery of that golden era. The secret of all the successes of our ancestors is their immense sacrifices. Even today, at least one generation has to be sacrificed for the progress of this community. The natural wealth of Muslim countries and the resources that are being generated are not proving to be very beneficial for the community. The reason for this is the parents, they cannot be patient. In their eyes, every child of theirs (especially the son) is a small mint. If that mint starts printing notes from the age of 15-20, how ‘great’ would it be? Just in this lach, parents try that their children are ready to make fuel for their stove, which is why we see this today. A few years ago, during a visit to Jeddah, I saw an advertisement on the front page of a popular Urdu daily there, which was of a polyclinic in Jeddah. The names of the doctors associated with that polyclinic were mentioned in it. They were: Dr. Ajay, Dr. Rajkumar, Dr. Shobha, Dr. Joseph, Dr. Preethi, Dr. Stephen, etc. The nearest airport to Mecca is Jeddah. By the way, for the sake of information, let me also mention that the names of the architects of the largest tower built in the United Arab Emirates, Burj Khalifa, are Adrian Smith, Marshal Strabala, George Ifta Theo, etc. I did not do any research to find out the names of the workers who pushed cars at the airports of these countries and worked as laboures in the construction of the Burj Khalifa because we all know which community those workers belonged to!
Nowadays, the axis of everyone’s life has become their own self. Therefore, we are seeing how much the rich, intelligent, wise, wise, and successful people of our society are proving to be beneficial to the needy people of the nation? Young people! Today, many people seem to you to be disturbed and hesitant despite all their material success. That is because they have not left any room for bringing happiness or comfort to others. Friends! The closer a person is to nature, the happier he will be. Nature says that share a few rays from the light of your life with others. If these successful people become higher than themselves, free from their own interests and free from their own selfish desires and egos, they will be happy in every trouble and every trial. Our message to the people in the society, who are rich in wealth, full of worldly knowledge and who have degress andcertificates, is that in order to achieve true happiness, now open all the doors of education, employment and guidance, all the rights of which they have reserved for themselves and their children. You can be sure that in your sparkling world, you will not get the happiness that will be achieved by lighting a lamp in the hut of a poor person.
Friends! Along with Mahmood (the boss), Ayaz(the servant) is always mentioned. There is an Ayaz in every house. How does ‘Mahmood’ treats him, the happiness of the house also depends on it. How much justice do we do to any servant, or slave in our house? Do we also worry about the education of his children? Do you keep his children’s bags filled along with your own? The surest way to happiness is to snatch a bowl (of begging) from a child’s hand and place a book in his or her hand.
