Dear students! No one ever gains anything by competing with science (or any knowledge) and why keep enmity? Where is any scientist or mathematician asking us be grateful to him? When we review the past 120 years, it is also clearly visible how much science and scientific studies have made our world easier after 1900:
(1) Vaccines for almost all deadly diseases and epidemics have been invented.
(2) It became known how psychological inheritance is transmitted to the next generations.
(3) Treatment of genetic diseases became possible.
(4) The Big Bang theory revealed how the universe came into existence. Although earlier the answer was only with Islam.
(5) Atom (which means indivisible substance) is divided. There was a big uproar over this, but a great alternative to energy was obtained due to this distribution.
(6) Rockets, jets and information planets put the universe in a pocket.
(7) Computers, robots and artificial intelligence have created pawns that are more powerful than kings.
(8) The GPS system came into existence from the understanding of the concept of time in the theory of relativity.
(9) MRI machine has succeeded in getting to the bottom of almost all human diseases.
This is a brief overview of the last century in which scientific studies have enriched man and humanity.
I don’t know why those who believe in science and arts, live in poverty. Now let’s see some interesting facts in this regard. Science means ‘Knowledge’, Scientist means Scholar, and its plural is ‘Ulema’ in Arabic Now this term may not be acceptable to some people. Also listen to an interesting thing that according to the scientific dictionary, a scientist is one who observes and draws a conclusion by thinking. Now in this world of science, every writer, poet and critic is also a scientist because he also observes and then reaches a conclusion after thinking carefully. We are telling this story today because there is an unnecessary cold war going on in the classroom, in the staff room, in the campus of the educational institution among the young teachers of both the fields. We and our teachers have to remember that:
(a) an art becomes a science when it is studied systematically.
(b) When a cultural, literary, cultural activity is presented in a useful, attractive and unique way, that cultural activity becomes an experiment of science.
Friends! Let’s take the story of scientific studies. Broadly speaking, there are two types: pure science and applied science. It is sub-classified into :
(a) natural sciences
(b) social sciences
(c) speculative sciences such as mathematics, statistics etc. and all these sciences are directly related to life.
Friends! On the front of science, we were not just soldiers, we used to be army commanders. Again, we have to make a big sacrifice to be on the top of this front and let our teachers identify only two children in each class every year who have scientific and innovative minds. Make them prepare for exams like Science Olympiad. Ask the school administration for more facilities for these children, invite their parents and make them think that they should devote these students to scientific research. Instead of a job or a business, attract those students in scientific research as a mission. Science teachers prepare two of their students for a scientific mission every year. It will be a great favor to this community passing through a ‘Gaza’ every time.
